Using AddressGen
AddressGen is a tool for generating sample addresses and contact details. It is intended for software development, form testing, demonstrations, education, and similar work where you need example data rather than someone's personal information. The generator is available without registration. These terms describe the conditions for using the site and its generation endpoint. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the service.
Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected]. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle generation requests, browser preferences, technical information, and messages you send us.
What a generated result means
A result is a sample, not a verified identity, a postal address verification, or permission to use an address. Names, street details, cities, postal codes, phone numbers, and email addresses may be assembled for illustration. They may be incomplete, inconsistent with one another, or unsuitable for the system you are testing. A result may also accidentally match a real person, telephone number, or location.
We do not guarantee that an address exists, accepts deliveries, or belongs to nobody. Nor do we guarantee that a telephone number works, an email address can receive messages, or a city and postal code always match. Do not call, message, or send anything to generated contact details. Use controlled test destinations when your test could trigger an actual message or delivery.
Check that sample data suits your test before relying on it. For example, a value that looks like a valid address may still fail a postal database check. AddressGen is not a substitute for verified customer information, a delivery service, an identity check, or professional advice.
Permitted uses and limits
You may use generated examples in lawful personal or commercial testing, mockups, demonstrations, and educational material. You remain responsible for how you use them and for the rules of any system into which you enter them. Permission to generate sample data here does not override another service's requirements for truthful information.
Please do not use AddressGen to:
- Impersonate someone or present a generated identity as your own verified identity.
- Commit fraud, submit misleading financial information, or evade identity, age, residency, or eligibility checks.
- Claim a right to receive goods, services, benefits, or tax treatment that you do not have.
- Harass people, send unsolicited messages, or test against real recipients without their permission.
- Access systems without authorization, distribute harmful code, or interfere with the service or other users.
If a project involves real users or personal information, generating examples does not by itself make that project compliant with privacy or other laws.
US tax-free state addresses
The tax-free state feature helps you select example addresses associated with certain US states. The label describes the feature's regional grouping; it does not mean every transaction in those states is free of every tax.
A generated address does not establish residence, a business presence, or eligibility for an exemption. Do not use it to misrepresent where you live or operate, or to make a tax declaration. AddressGen does not provide tax or legal advice. Decisions about actual purchases, business registration, or tax obligations need information appropriate to your circumstances.
Automated access and fair use
A publicly accessible generation endpoint is not a promise of unlimited requests, bulk access, or a guaranteed service level. If you automate requests, keep the volume reasonable, avoid unnecessary repeated calls, and respect any limits or access restrictions you encounter.
We may restrict requests or block access that disrupts availability, creates a security concern, or violates these terms. Do not bypass those restrictions. Contact us before depending on the service for a high-volume workflow; its availability and behavior may change.
Site content and generated examples
The AddressGen name, logo, site design, written content, and code are separate from the sample data the tool produces. Using the generator does not transfer ownership of the website or grant permission to present your project as endorsed by AddressGen. Third-party materials remain subject to their applicable rights and licenses.
We do not claim exclusive rights over randomly generated examples or promise that an output is unique. Other users may receive similar results, and real-world details may overlap. Your use of a result must still respect other people's rights and the permitted uses above.
Availability and responsibility
We may change supported regions, output formats, or features, and may interrupt or discontinue service. We aim to keep the tool useful, but provide it as available, without promising uninterrupted operation or error-free results. Do not make it the sole dependency for a critical workflow.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, AddressGen is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on inaccurate examples, unavailable service, or use of generated data outside its intended purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or takes away rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
Changes and contact
We may revise these terms as the service develops and will update the date at the top of this page. Any additional notice required by applicable law will be provided. If you have a question about a proposed use, encounter misuse, or want to report a problem, contact [email protected].
