Privacy Policy
How AddressGen handles generation requests, browser preferences, advertising cookies, technical information, and support messages.

About this policy
AddressGen generates sample addresses and contact details for testing, development, demonstrations, and learning. You can use the generator without creating an account or giving us your real name, home address, or payment details. This policy explains what information is involved when you visit the site, generate a result, or contact us.
For privacy questions, write to [email protected]. For guidance on using generated information, see our Terms of Service.
When you generate an address
Your browser sends your selected country and, where available, state to our server. We use those choices to produce a sample result and return it to your browser. Choosing a region tells us what kind of sample you want; it does not tell us where you actually live. The generator does not need your precise location or access to your device contacts.
Generated names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses are examples, not verified identities. Some details may happen to resemble or match real people or places. Please do not treat a result as information about a particular person, or contact someone using generated details.
The generation process does not write results to a database, and we do not provide a server-side history of your generated addresses. Results are held temporarily to process the request and display them in the page. If you save a result, take a screenshot, or enter it into another service, that copy is outside the generator and follows the storage and privacy practices of the place where you put it.
Browser preferences
We use a language preference cookie so the site can remember your chosen language. A separate setting in your browser's local storage remembers your light or dark theme. These settings support the interface; they are not a saved address history.
You can remove them using your browser's controls for cookies and site data. Clearing them may reset your language or appearance preferences. Browser settings that block storage may also prevent preferences from being remembered, but you do not need to provide personal details to choose them again.
Third-party advertising and cookies
Third-party advertising providers, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to AddressGen or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to show ads based on visits to this site and other sites across the Internet.
When ads are served, these providers may place or read cookies in your browser and use web beacons, IP addresses, and other browser or device identifiers to collect information. They may use that information to deliver ads, measure their performance, and personalize advertising, depending on your settings and any applicable consent choices. These technologies are separate from the language and theme preferences described above.
You can manage or turn off Google's personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. See how Google uses advertising technologies for more information. The YourAdChoices opt-out tool also lets you opt out of personalized advertising from participating third-party providers. These choices do not stop all ads or disable every cookie; browser controls offer separate options for blocking or clearing cookies.
Technical information and support messages
When your browser connects to the site, the systems serving it necessarily handle connection and request information. This can include an IP address, requested URL, browser information, request time, and response status. Hosting infrastructure may keep access or security logs, and the application records generation errors to help diagnose failures. These records are distinct from an address history.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you include. We use that information to answer you, investigate the issue, and keep relevant correspondence together. A description of the problem and the page where it happened is usually enough. Please do not send passwords, identity documents, financial details, or other sensitive information.
How information is used and shared
We use information involved in running the site to deliver requested results, maintain availability, investigate errors or misuse, and respond to support requests. Providers that host the site or handle email may process the information needed to perform those services.
We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to address a security incident or protect the service and other people. The information relevant to a support inquiry or technical incident depends on what happened; it does not require collecting a profile of everyone who uses the generator.
Advertising providers also process information for the purposes described above, under their own privacy policies and applicable consent choices. Their cookies and identifiers may connect activity across websites; the absence of a stored address-generation history does not mean that advertising activity is not collected.
Retention and data security
Different information has different lifetimes. Generated results are temporary rather than a stored server-side history. Browser preferences remain subject to cookie expiry and your browser's storage controls. Technical records and support correspondence are retained according to their operational purpose, the systems handling them, and any applicable legal requirements. We do not state a fixed retention period that applies to all these records. You can contact us about information connected to a particular inquiry.
The generator validates the country and state selections it accepts. Its responses instruct browsers and intermediaries not to cache them, and generation failures return a general error rather than internal diagnostic details. These measures reduce unnecessary exposure; they do not prevent a user from saving a displayed result, and they are not a guarantee against every security risk.
Advertising cookies and related records have their own retention periods, set by the providers handling them. Clearing this site's preferences does not necessarily remove information already held by those providers. Use their privacy and advertising controls for choices about that information.
Your choices and requests
You can clear browser preferences, stop using the site, or contact us about personal information you have supplied. Depending on applicable law, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, or other handling of information we hold about you. We may need enough information to identify the relevant correspondence and confirm that a request comes from the right person. We cannot retrieve a generation history that we do not keep.
We update the date above when this policy changes. If a change calls for additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it. Questions about this policy or a possible security issue can be sent to [email protected].
